8月7日上午，学校在附属医院培训中心举行2017届留学生毕业典礼暨学位授予仪式，祝贺全体2017届本科留学生圆满完成学业，在新的人生旅途上扬帆起航。
党委副书记、院长白波在典礼上致辞。副院长崔文宣读了《济宁医学院关于授予2017届留学毕业生学士学位的决定》。
白波向2017届全体留学毕业生表示热烈祝贺和诚挚祝福，对辛勤付出、关心关爱留学生的老师们表示感谢，对即将离校远行的留学生提出了四点期望。First of all, stick to the oath for medical students, keep the strong belief in promoting health and benefiting the people, and shoulder the responsibility of your own share to make contributions to human healthcare cause. Secondly, remember “One is never too old to learn.” and always be enthusiastic in pursuing knowledge and truth. Thirdly, act as an active role of the messenger of friendship of China and your motherland, and let your family and friends know more about Jining Medical University and China where you have enjoyed great kindness and tremendous support in the past few years. Finally, cherish the feelings towards this university: respect, affection, benevolence and gratitude for all it has given to you, and may these years of learning leave a gracious mark on you! 白波还勉励留学生毕业生们，从济医毕业不是学业的终点而是新的起点，在离开济医的日子里要不忘初心，继续前行，带着中华文明的熏陶和济医人特有的文化基因，为祖国人民的医疗事业做出应有的贡献。他期盼大家心系回母校，常回来看看。
典礼上，白波为2017届留学毕业生颁发了毕业证、学位证书，并为他们正冠、拨穗。
教师代表张海荣作了发言，回顾了在医学知识的传授、临床技能的培养和跨文化交流的过程中与留学生教学相长的心得，并勉励留学生毕业生勤奋进取，再创佳绩！留学生外教Adeel在发言中对我校的留学生教育给予高度评价，鼓励留学生在成长为一名合格医生的道路上，不断进取，永不放弃。留学毕业生代表Ali作了发言，表达了对母校和老师的惜别与感恩之情，表示一定会牢记恩师的嘱托，不断提高自己的医疗水平，早日成为一名有国际视野的优秀医生，为自己国家的人民谋福利。
